TOMS RIVER, NJ – Tonight we journey down to Ocean County, NJ which houses a bustling complex of ill fated tenants called, the Ocean County Jail. In January of this year, a lawsuit was filed by a female trio towards the county of ocean and individually named head honchos of the Ocean County Department of Corrections. Each female employee that filed suit claims they each individually failed to receive equal opportunities of employment and were subject to toilet humor sexual harassment.
The ongoing sexual harassment and female discrimination is nothing new for Ocean County Department of Corrections as these practices have been in place since the Hutler Era in the 1980s. We can only hope this lawsuit brings and end to these atrocities. However, lawsuits can take years. These female inmates and officers who have undergone years of harassment and discrimination don’t have years to wait.
