Gene Anagnos, candidate for US Senate, called out his opponents for not showing up to the protest and representing their constituents.

Stephanie Locricchio, an attendee, raised awareness on the “gross overreach by some of these governors trampling on our constitutional freedoms.” Lorcricchio also shared if large big box retailers can remain open while following the social distancing guidelines, small businesses can do the same.

Small Business owner Daryl Brooks shared his experiences regarding unemployment claims being unfulfilled leaving some families desperate.

Joe Gormley, director of Saving Fatherhood podcast, reminded people in a free society need to be responsible for themselves and their rights. Gormley later claims that NJ residents are currently experiencing Totalitarianism & Tyranny.

As of today, the state is reporting 113,856 positive COVID-19 cases with an unfortunate 6,442 coronavirus related deaths.

Major media networks covered the protest including MSNBC, News 12 New Jersey & NJ.com. MSNBC was permitted to erect a large white canopy tent to provide shade for the anchor, crew & equipment. A large communications cable was ran from the white tent to a black late-model truck in a nearby parking lot. When #EyesOnNJ asked NJSP if news/media is permitted to park in the lot, the officer responded with “no” and #EyesOnNJ News was promptly dismissed.
