LACEY – Gavin Rozzi from Marchitello, Rozzi & Armato tells #EyesOnNJ News in a live interview how he placed signs on the intersection of Railroad Ave & Station Dr in Forked River, NJ and by the next day, disappeared without a trace. The following day, Rozzi placed two additional signs in the same location. Rozzi reported that within 1 to 2 days, both signs disappeared.

Rozzi notified Lacey Police who promptly begun an investigation by canvassing the neighborhood. Rozzi advised that the campaign treasurer for the opposition lives nearby the sign disappearance.

Initial narrative report generated by Lacey Township Police.

Rozzi tells us that treasurer, John Dodaro came forward and claimed “he found the signs on his lawn” and placed them inside his garage. Rozzi also tells us that they remained in the garage for days until police opened an investigation.

Downing, Giordano, McAvoy & Peters for Lacey Township Board have not issued a statement regarding the theft and detention of the signs.

Rozzi tells us “We have confirmed the identity of the man that has been threatening the businesses that have our signs up.” According to Marchitello, Rozzi & Armato for Lacey Board of Education‘s official facebook page, “A Lacey Education Foundation trustee is calling up businesses supporting our team to try and threaten and intimidate them into taking our signs down.”

To the left is a screenshot of the threat that Sonia Maria discussed on September 28, 2019. Sonia writes. “Some guy {_____} told us we would lose customers and people would boycott, if we kept the sign up.” Sonia then writes that she paid for her order collected the sign and left the shop. On September 29, 2019, Suzanne Nardone writes “Rumor has it that it was Bruce Halliday, a Trustee on the Lacey Education Foundation who runs a landscaping business in town called “One of a Kind Landscaping”

According to this MyLife.com page, a family linage has been established connecting the landscaping owner’s wife to the Lacey Board of Education attorney.

Gavin Rozzi will join an #EyesOnNJ News broadcast early next week to walk us through the events relating to these threats mentioned earlier. Stay tuned.
