Rep Tom Malinowski of NJ’s 7th congressional district also took the stage to demand police across the state to dress as police officers and “not to look like they’re the 86nd airborne brigade parachuting into Iraq. That doesn’t build trust.”

Speakers included Katina Carter, Jimena Torres, Taylor Lacon, Abdon Andahur, Faith Wilson and Angelina Harrison.

Protesters observe 8 minutes and 46 seconds of silence for George Floyd’s recent death.

After speeches were made, a over half of the protesters began to march north on Somerset rd and continue west down County Road 636.

The March was led one police car and trailed by two police vehicles.
